Christofer Solheim
Christofer is Chief Innovation Officer and Chairman of Commetric and CommEq, both founded in 2005. Christofer also provides executive counsel to Paul Taaffe, global CEO of Hill & Knowlton Public Relations – a role that developed following ten years as H&K’s Worldwide Director of Business Intelligence. Since 1992, Christofer has pioneered the use of advanced technologies to revolutionize business and communications strategic planning. In 2003, he was the principle founder of 2B, a company specializing in quantitative reputation measurement, later acquired by Factiva, a Reuters & Dow Jones Company. Prior to founding 2B, Christofer was the founding Director of H&K’s Net Communications practice. In the 80s and 90s, Christofer consulted full time for the CEO of Kaldnes de Groot and spent two years at Heerema in Oslo. Christofer is Norwegian/German by birth and lives with his Italian wife in London. He was educated in business at the Academy of Commerce, Oslo, and in Computer Science at the University of Oslo.
Stoyan Mihov
Since 2005, Stoyan Mihov has been Chief Knowledge Office for CommEq Asset Management and an advisor to the Commetric Group. Stoyan has over 10 years academic research in the Natural Language Processing area. Prior to joining CommEq, Stoyan worked as senior researcher at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He participated and coordinated several joined research projects funded by the EC science fund, Volkswagen Stiftung, the Bulgarian National Science fund and others. Stoyan is the author and co-author of several scientific papers on Natural Language Processing published in influential journals including Computational Linguistics, MIT Press, and Natural Language Engineering, Cambridge University Press. Stoyan also co-authored general formalism for approximate search in very large dictionaries, known as Levenshtein Automata.
Stoyan lectures at the Sofia University and is a regular speaker at academic conferences and workshops. Stoyan holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Sofia University.
Georgi Nalbantov
Georgi is a former financial journalist and news editor. He joined Commetric in 2007 as a Business Analyst to develop the sophisticated natural language rules which are at the heart of the Equity Optimiser process. He currently manages the Equity Optimiser team at the Technology Lab. Before joining Commetric, Georgi spent 5 years in financial journalism, three of which as a Managing Editor of a regional news agency covering the Southeast European equity markets. Georgi holds an MA in Slavic Languages and Literature from the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
